It's now your turn to make a splash
Hello Community,
First and foremost, I am so touched by your reactions and well wishes. It truly warms my heart.
We are excited to share this next chapter. As Art for the Soul closes its doors here in Florida, we are supporting the formation of a new, separate nonprofit art studio in Hawaii—built with the same heart, values, and creative spirit that shaped our work here.
Over the past five years, this studio has been a place where many of you discovered your gifts, deepened your skills, and found healing through creativity. It has been my joy and honor to nurture your growth and to watch you explore, expand, and share your art.
Now, as this chapter closes, it is your turn.
If you feel called to do so, I encourage you to continue the work we began together—keep creating, keep growing, and keep nurturing others through your art. The goodness we cultivated here was never meant to stay within these walls; it was meant to ripple outward into homes, communities, and lives that need light. You now have both the skill and the responsibility to carry that light forward.
The vision for a studio in Hawaii has been unfolding for years, beginning during my time living there and strengthened by the connections formed with glass artists between 2010 and 2013. While the new studio will be its own fully independent nonprofit, we are grateful for the opportunity to support its beginning by donating what we can from our remaining assets.
To do this responsibly, we are turning certain materials into cash to help cover their start-up costs. Items that are practical to ship will be shipped, and the rest will be sold locally. This ensures everything is handled properly and with the care expected of a nonprofit closing its operations.
At this time, our kilns have already been sold to individuals who share the same values of creativity, healing, and generosity. We still have fusing glass, stained glass, cabinetry, tabletops, shelving, stools, and various equipment available. Please feel free to share this with anyone who may be interested during this transition period.
Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping us create a space where souls could be fed through art and where goodness could take root and grow. Even as the studio closes, I will continue to support those who have embraced creativity as nourishment. I am still here—encouraging you, cheering you on, and believing in the work you will continue.
With gratitude,
June
